The Fracci Gala is now a custom and pure emotion! This is the summary of the performance dedicated to Carla Fracci. The Teatro alla Scala and Manuel Legris could not have organised a better tribute to remember this immense performer who gave so much to dance and to our theatre. A sensational and memorable evening of almost three hours of excellent dance to celebrate the ever-present memory of this performer. A performance studded with great international étoiles: Alessandra Ferri, Roberto Bolle then on the podium conducted by Kevin Rhodes a splendid orchestra for a truly unique performance!
The scene opens with a remembrance addressed to the Great Carla who, through a film and her images, introduces each ballet.
Opening the evening Le Spectre de la rose the iconic ballet by Mikhail Fokin with Jacopo Tissi and Letizia Masini.
Follows Le Loup of the great Roland Petit which Martina Arduino and Marco Agostino interpreted with great intensity and skill.
Then Le Papillon with Nicola Del Freo and Linda Giubelli.
La Dame aux Camélias, a tender pas de deux with Nicoletta Manni and a very sweet Roberto Bolle. Verdi Suite Alice Mariani, Maria Celeste Losa, Claudio Coviello, Federico Fresi, Mattia Semperboni, Caterina Bianchi. In the second act L'Après-midi d'un Faune on stage Agnese Di Clemente and Domenico Di Cristo bravo! By John Neumeier an excerpt from Le Pavillon d'Armideplayed by Davide Dato first dancer of the Vienna State Ballet a difficult and intense piece. An evergreen from Swan Lake by Nureyev with Nicoletta Manni Timofej Andrijashenko e Christian Fagetti always interesting.
A superlative After the Rain with Alessandra Ferri and Roberto Bolle, a poignant pas de deux by Christoper Wheeldon where the two performers merge into pure art, wonderful!
From Raymonda the pas classique hongrois with Martina Arduino , Navrin Turnbull e Gaia Andreanò from the third act of Raymonda of Petipa's very difficult bravi bravi!
To conclude, an unforgettable performance, the theatre packed, the enthusiastic audience moved and trembling, thunderous applause throughout the entire performance and, at the end, the great Carla applauded by all of us for her artistry. Thanks to all the performers for an unforgettable evening and for the profuse emotion that enriches our souls.
