To commemorate the centenary of the birth of Franco Zeffirelli <\/b>the La Scala Theatre <\/b>proposes: La Boh\u00e8me <\/b>by Giacomo Puccin<\/b>i, the direction and scenes are by the Maestro, but regenerated by Marco Gandini. <\/b>The costumes are the original ones by Piero Tosi taken from Anna Biagiotti, <\/b>led by the Korean Eun Sun Kim<\/b>. The premiere of Boheme was in Turin in 1896 and since 1897 it has been the most frequently performed opera at La Scala and one of the most successful.<\/p>

It is a simple love story. In Paris, in the Latin Quarter, Christmas Eve is celebrated. A group of penniless friends, the painter Marcello, the musician Schaunard and the philosopher Colline, live in an attic where the love story between Mimi is born,<\/p>

sick with consumption, and the poet Rodolfo, a stormy and poignant story, supported by poignant music that speaks directly to the heart. A splendid production that finds its climax in the performance of Marina Rebeka, <\/b>a Mim\u00ec with impeccable colouring. The other performers are: Freddie De Tommaso <\/b>in Rodolfo, Luca Micheletti <\/b>as Marcello, Musetta is Irina Lungu, <\/b>Schaunard Alessio Arduini, <\/b>Hills is Jongmin Park. <\/b>The Orchestra,<\/p>

The Orchestra, the Chorus of the Teatro alla Scala and the Chorus of White Voices are perfect. A great show full of emotion. I was six years old when my parents took me to La Scala for the first time to see Boh\u00e8me and it was love at first sight.
