Bayad\u00e8re, \u00e8 uno dei balletti del repertorio classico pi\u00f9 apprezzato che viene riproposto al Teatro alla Scala<\/a> nella versione di Rudolf Nureyev, ma tratta dalla coreografia di Marius Petipa, dove si coglie l\u2019accurata supervisione di Manuel Legris che ha trasformato un balletto classico in un\u2019opera straordinariamente flamboyant. Le scene ed i costumi spettacolari sono di Luisa Spinatelli sul podio Kevin Rhodes sempre entusiasmante.
La storia narra di un\u2019India correlata da drammi, intrighi e storie d\u2019amore.
Solor, il guerriero, \u00e8 innamorato della danzatrice Nikiya alla quale giura eterno amore, ma il Rajah offre a Solor sua figlia Gamzatti. Nikiya, la baiadera, \u00e8 amata anche dal Bramino che informa Gamzatti della tresca tra Solor e la danzatrice. Durante la festa di fidanzamento, su suggerimento del Rajah, la serva Aya dona alla baiadera un cestino di fiori che nasconde un serpente velenoso che morde Nikiya. Il bramino propone di salvarla con un antidoto, ma lei rifiuta e danza sino alla morte. Solor dal dolore fuma l\u2019oppio da un narghil\u00e8 e si addormenta trovandosi nel Regno delle Ombre dove ritrova l\u2019amata Nikiya.

L\u2019idolo d\u2019oro, cameo di Mattia Semperboni, \u00e8 superlativo. Nel complesso bravissimi tutti con un emozionante Regno delle Ombre che strappa il cuore.<\/p>
